On December 30,
President Xi Jinping sent a consolatory letter to the Chinese medical team in
Africa, greeting medical staff fighting Ebola there.

	Xi said in his
consolatory letter that since some West African countries broke out with Ebola,
the Chinese medical team made efforts to help West African people fight Ebola.
It made its contributions in virus detection, suspected cases observation, and
treatment and public health training, which not only won the praises of
recipient countries but also the international community.

	Xi encouraged the
Chinese medical team to do its best to help West African countries fight Ebola,
making contributions to Sino-African friendship.

	Since Ebola broke
out in West Africa, China has dispatched a number of medical teams cooperating
with local medical staff to carry out Ebola prevention, virus detection,
suspected cases observation, and treatment and medical staff training.
