In 2014, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport was China's second busiest and world's 15th busiest airport by passenger traffic, with 54,780,346 passengers handled. As for cargo traffic, the airport was the third busiest in China and the18th busiest worldwide. Baiyun airport was also the second busiest airport in China in terms of aircraft movements.
